Lori Currier’s passion for things beautiful was her “raison d’tre” well before she became one of the Lakes Region’s premier interior designers.
Her highly successful firm boasts a portfolio of beautiful interiors that are timeless, featuring uncompromising quality and attention to every detail. The result of her work is an investment producing years of enjoyment for her satisfied clientel.
“I have worked with some of the most fantastic clients, “ says Currier, adding, “ They are not looking for the ordinary. They are people who seek something very personal, very unique; something that defines their unique sense of style. My mission is to help them attain those goals. They often know what they want but need someone to help them visualize it, to pull it all together, to make sure their dreams are fully attained.
Ms. Currier received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont in Fashion Merchandising. Advanced studies took her abroad for a year-long residency in London with visits to major fashion shows in Paris and Munich. She worked for an interior design firm in Boca Raton upon her return to the states, a firm which was the recipient of the industry’s top honors. Returning to New England, she opened her interior design studio in Gilford, NH 18 years ago. Her name is now synonomous with award-winning designs found in some of the region’s finest properties. Her unique projects represent a wealth of experience in numerous areas of interior design. Lori’s work is found in fine residences, country inns, bed and breakfasts, hotel lobbies, commercial venues, model homes and even time-shares.
Ms. Currier is a member of the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of New Hampshire and her exceptional designs have earned her prestigious S.A.M./ Cornerstone Awards from the association. She is also an Allied Member of The American Society of Interior Designers. Some of her award winning projects have been featured in publications such as Yankee Magazine and New Hampshire Magazine. She has participated in several Designer Show House projects and each year volunteers her talent to the annual Zonta Holiday House.
